BASIC AUTOCAD

This module describes the knowledge, skills and attitude required to create highly precise 2D designs that visualize construction drawings. It is intended to be delivered to learners pursuing TVET level IV in building construction. At the end of this module, the learner will be able to create, modify and plot construction drawings.

BUILDING CONSTRUCTION BASIC WELDING

This module describes the skills, knowledge and attitude to perform the basics welding on
construction sites. It is intended to be pursued by the learner at TVET level IV in Building
Construction. At the end of this module, learner will be able to prepare the work by
selecting suitable materials, tools and equipment; perform arc welding; and perform oxy-
acetylene gas welding as required.

CONCRETE WORKS

This module describes the skills, knowledge and attitude required to perform concrete works on construction site. It is intended to be pursued by learners at TVET level IV in Building Construction. At the end of this module, the learner will be able to: erect formwork, mix concrete, cast concrete, dismantle the formwork as required and clean the workplace.

QUANTIFYING THE CONSTRUCTION WORK


This module describes the knowledge, skills and attitude of quantifying various construction works and reporting the work done. It is intended to be pursued by the learners at TVET Certificate IV in building construction. At the end of this module, the learner will be able to: Interpret construction drawings, determine required resources in the construction sites, perform site data collection and reporting

CEMENT BASED BLOCKS AND PAVERS

This module introduces learners to the production, properties, and applications of cement-based blocks and pavers in construction. It covers basic materials, mix proportioning, manufacturing processes, and quality control. Learners will also study the uses of blocks and pavers in walls, pavements, and landscaping, as well as their advantages such as durability, cost-effectiveness, and eco-friendliness.

BUILDING CONSTRUCTION DRAWING

This module describes the knowledge, skills and attitude required to realize Building construction drawing. It is intended to be educated to learner at TVET level IV for TVET Certificate IV in building construction.
